Notes

Choosing the Right Yarn: For the best results, use soft cotton yarn for your coasters. Cotton is highly absorbent and durable, making it ideal for catching spills during breakfast. Plus, it retains its shape and softness over time, ensuring long-lasting use.
Adjusting the Size: Whether you want a bigger or smaller coaster, you can easily modify the pattern. To keep the shape even and round, increase each round by 12 stitches. If you prefer a smaller size, reduce the number of rounds while maintaining a consistent stitch pattern to keep it flat.
Securing the Ends: Once your coaster is complete, be sure to weave in all loose ends securely. This step is essential to prevent unraveling, especially since coasters are used frequently. Properly securing the ends will keep your project looking neat and durable over time.
